Jacobo Tech operates the JT Clipboard Pro Chrome Extension.

JT Clipboard Pro is designed to help users save, organize, search, and manage clipboard history, copied text, screenshots, images, templates, and productivity content directly inside Google Chrome.

Data Collection

JT Clipboard Pro does not collect, store, sell, rent, or share personal user data.

The extension operates locally within the user’s browser and uses Chrome local storage (chrome.storage.local) only for:

  • Saving clipboard history

  • Saving screenshots and images

  • Saving extension settings

  • Saving user preferences

  • Saving collections and tags

  • Saving templates and snippets

  • Saving backup data

  • Saving license activation status

No personal information is transmitted to external servers.

Permissions

JT Clipboard Pro may use the following Chrome permissions:

storage

Used to save clipboard history, settings, templates, collections, and preferences locally on the user’s device.

activeTab

Used to access information from the currently active webpage when a user initiates extension features.

tabs

Used to interact with browser tabs and open support, documentation, or upgrade pages.

scripting

Used to execute extension functionality on webpages when requested by the user.

clipboardRead

Used to read clipboard content when the user chooses to capture clipboard items.

clipboardWrite

Used to copy saved clipboard items back to the user’s clipboard.

Clipboard Data

Clipboard content captured by JT Clipboard Pro is stored locally on the user’s device.

This may include:

  • Copied text

  • Links

  • Notes

  • Templates

  • Images

  • Screenshots

JT Clipboard Pro does not transmit clipboard content to external servers.

All clipboard data remains under the user’s control.

Third-Party Services

JT Clipboard Pro may contain links to third-party websites and services, including but not limited to:

  • Gumroad

  • Jacobo Tech

These external websites operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

Data Security

All extension data is stored locally within the user’s browser.

JT Clipboard Pro:

  • Does not maintain external databases

  • Does not transmit clipboard content to remote servers

  • Does not track browsing activity

  • Does not sell user information

  • Does not share user information with third parties

  • Does not require user accounts

License Verification

For PRO activation, JT Clipboard Pro may validate a license key during the activation process.

License verification is used solely to confirm the validity of a purchased license.

After activation, the license status is stored locally within the browser.

Any updates will be reflected by revising the Last Updated date at the top of this document.
